Mix & Mingle: The Relevancy of Human Resources in Shifting Times and Economic Challenges

Description:	Human Resource Management is a strategic and comprehensive approach to managing people and the workplace culture and environment. Effective HRM enables employees to contribute effectively and productively to the overall company direction and the accomplishment of the organization's goals and objectives. Human Resource Management is moving away from traditional personnel, administration, and transactional roles, which are increasingly outsourced. HRM is now expected to add value to the strategic utilization of employees and that employee programs impact the business in measurable ways. The new role of HRM involves strategic direction and HRM metrics and measurements to demonstrate value. Mr. Fernan Cepero, Vice President of Human Resources for the YMCA of Greater Rochester, will address the critical role of HRM in the sea change of regulatory, political, economic, and social change. Admissions representatives will also be available to answer questions and review the application process for our Accelerated Learning Programs in the field of Business Administration. The Rochester Campus offers an Associate, Bachelor, and Masters Degree in Business Administration, as well as a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership.
